ANZAC Day is an annual day of remembrance for the brave soldiers who stormed Gallipoli at dawn on April 25, 1915, and all Australians and New Zealanders who have served in conflicts since.
• Burleigh Heads: Anzac Day dawn service begins at 4:15 am and runs until 5:30 am at the Memorial Park Cenotaph. The later Anzac Day service will be held at the same place from 9:15 am to 11:00 am.
• Coomera: The Coomera Anzac Day ceremony will take place from 10:30–11:15 am at Upper Community Centre at 90 Reserve Road, Upper Coomera.
• Currumbin: The dawn service will start at 5:00 am at Elephant Rock on Currumbin Beach. Before the dawn service, a march assembly and registration check will take place at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Village Green. Currumbin RSL will hold a mid-morning service at the club’s cenotaph. The march assembly at Winders Park will take place at 10:35 am, while the parade commences at 10:55 am and the Anzac Day ceremony will follow at the Currumbin RSL Cenotaph.
• Helensvale: Helensvale’s dawn service will begin at 5:00 am at Memorial Wall at 20 Discovery Drive in Helensvale, hosted by RSL North Gold Coast Sub Branch.
• Nerang: Nerang’s Anzac Day dawn service will be held at Nerang RSL & Memorial Club at 69 Nerang Street from 4:45 am. The main service will happen at 10:00 am, with the march form-up point located at the Maid of Sker end of Nerang Street at 9:15 am for a 9:40 am step off.
• Runaway Bay: The dawn service begins at 5:00 am next to the Runaway Bay Library off Lae Drive. The Anzac Day march at 9:30 am will form up in Seagulls Rugby League carpark and march to the Anzac Place Cenotaph, where the Anzac Day ceremony will start at 10:00 am.
• Southport: The Anzac Day march will form up at 7:15 am at the carpark of the Aquatic Centre on Lind Street. Step off will be at approximately 8:30 am. The main Anzac Day ceremony at 9:00 am will be hosted at RSL Southport Sub Branch.
• Surfers Paradise: The dawn service at Surfers Paradise will take place from 5:30–7:00 am at the Anzac Memorial along The Esplanade. The dawn parade commences at 5:00am on Beach Road, and marchers can form up at 4:45 am at 9 Beach Road. Later in the day, an Anzac Day ceremony will take place from 12:00–1:00 pm at Cavill Park.
• Tamborine Mountain: The dawn service at Mount Tamborine will be held at the Cenotaph in Main Street in North Tamborine at 5:00 am. Members and guests are invited to attend the Shot Gun Breakfast after the ceremony. Later in the morning, the march will form up at 9:45 am in front of the Zania Theatre in Main Street in North Tamborine. The march will proceed to the Cenotaph for the main service at 10:
